As BCC already seem to live on another planet, I'd have thought it would be useful if there could be more interface between them and planet Earth.

Hello John,

Did the 'Casablanca caper' perhaps involve me, Nick, Glyn and David, not forgetting 'Big Al' and Tim Pope of course.

Thanks :) (No iPhone though, a nice Nokia). We were extremely lucky with the weather and synchronicity.

To make it even crazier, the bright dot in the sky behind the fireworks when the CBSO were playing Jupiter was - Jupiter :-)

[...] A great summer « John Mostyn’s Blog - John Mostyn reflects on Glastonbury and this gets him thinking about The Rainbow noise abatement nonsense, and how Digbeth could be an ‘urban Glastonbury’: The noise abatement row rumbles on but the City is really missing a major opportunity here. Digbeth is currently the home to more than 20 venues, it’s full of galleries, creatives of all sorts and some fine engineers and metal bashers – a unique environment. [...]

John, Janice actually previewed this, she was trialing it for her tour, at Atticus, I thought it was fantastic. Janice played Atticus 3 times I think, along with Ivan Brackenbury, Ted Chippington, Nick Doody, Jon Richardson and Jo Enright amongst others. Loved the comedy nights we had on - those were the days!

No lynching folk, get back in your wagons and head on back to your ranches.

Dubber has convinced me, for the time being, that the copyright issue can find another forum for debate so he and I in the spirit of investigation are going to be quizzing the music folk returning from SXSW on March 30th. Just pop along to http://www.creativerepublic.org.uk/ toward the end of next week to save a place. Remember the Cowboys and the Farmers can be friends.
